Ministry of Heavy Industries has released Request for Proposal (RFP) for inviting bidders through global tender under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme ‘National Programme on Advance Chemistry Cell (ACC) Battery Storage’ for setting up manufacturing facilities for Advance Chemistry Cell (ACC) Battery Storage in India, with a cumulative manufacturing capacity of 10 Giga Watt Hour (GWH) and with an outlay of Rs.3,620 crore (around 0.44 billion US Dollars). Under the PLI Scheme for ACC, an applicant can apply for a minimum of 5 GWh upto a maximum of 10 GWh. The tender documents are available on Central Public Procurement Portal of India (CPPP: https://eprocure.gov.in/eprocure/app) from 24/01/2024 and pre-bid conference shall be held on 12/02/2024 at New Delhi. The bid due date is 22/04/2024 and bids shall be opened on 23/04/2024.
